Meeting Tomorrow & Penfriends Required!

Post date: Apr 4, 2011 12:08:06 PM

Hey Fellow Chronic Fatiguer's,

I hope everybody is enjoying the lovley sunny weather we are having? I love it, as i think it makes things brighter and also I always find I can cope better when the sun is out and the birds are singing :)

Firstly a reminder, that our  monthly meeting isTOMORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tuesday 5th April 13.30 - 15.30pm at

St John's C of E Church Hall.

Hot drinks, cold drinks and snacks are provided, all we ask is that you bring yourself and if you have anything to discuss or talk about, bring that with you as well!

Secondly, we require PENFRIEND and CHUMS!

We have lots of people in the Ipswich area, looking for others in the UK to write to! If you are someone with an illness with Chronic Fatigue or you are a carer/friend of someone with a condition that has Chronic Fatigue, and you want to talk or meet others in a similar situation than a penfriend is highly recommended.

If you are too poorly or too busy to be able to write to someone, but you would like to hear from someone in a similar situation than no worries, we have the Chum scheme. A chum is someone who writes to you, but doen't sxpect a reply back. This is great for people too poorly to write as they get contact from someone, or if you are too busy, you can take time out to read a letter from your chum.

All you need to do is email us at info@cfsunite.co.uk, with your details such as your name, date of birth and address. Also provide us with a couple of interests or things about you. We will then match you up with someone and you can sit back and enjoy a new friendship, from someone who understands and who can see where you are coming from.

Having a penfriend or a chum is brillant, as it helps you to realise you are not on your own, there are people here that can understand, sympathise and support you.
