Happy 2012!

Welcome to 2012, I cannot believe how the time has flown (it was November last time I blogged). I hope you all had the best Christmas possible and were able to do something special for the New Year. As most of you know, the group was fairly quiet over the festive time, to allow us to celebrate Christmas and avoid over doing it too much.

Now that the new Year has arrived and we are starting to settle down back to normality, plans are being made for the year ahead. I have LOTS of ideas, as  I can assure you many of our committee do too and really hope we can reach out to more people this year, however my priority is to support one ofeach and every you.

Monthly meetingsWe will have our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of every month starting on the 7th February, with our 1 year celebration being held on our March meeting (6th March), for the liust of our meeting dates please click on the link http://www.cfsunite.co.uk/local-events/monthly-meeting-dates.  Plans are to have  another bbq in August, and due to the success of our October community launch we are planning on holding another one. Elsewhere, we shall look into ways of fundraising, ways of getting information and understanding out in the community to name a few things. If you have any requests or ideas please feel free to email or call me to discuss as  this is your group and we would like you to get the most out of us as you can.

Our penfriend is another way for you to keep in touch with others, click here for further information and our newsletters are a vital source for us to spread the word and the journey of our group and our members, with the next issue due out at the beginning of March.
