Chronic Fatiguers Unite held its third meeting on Tuesday 10th May, and to mark ME Awareness Week, most of the group chose to turn up in their pyjamas, some of which were remarkably colourful. This meeting was our busiest ever with 22 people attending, and it is astoundingto see the range of people who have Chronic Fatigue - as in ages, severity and location. Everyone who has contacted the group  want to share their stories and experience, and have reported how good it feels that they are not alone. During the meeting we talked about acheivements each member has accomplished over the past 4 weeks and also discussed the benefits of having a pj day and ways to raise awareness of Chronic Fatigue.

At the meeting the CFU family also celebrated receiving afantastic £50 donation from the local pantomime group the Springfield Follies, who are performing a variety show at St Augustine’s Church Hall this Saturday (14th May) and next Saturday (21st May). A number of Follies members also have ME and have joined CFS Unite.

On behalf of the CFU family we wish to thank everyone who attended this meeting, and also thank the Springfield Follies for their generous gift.

The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday 7th June, 13.30pm - 15.30pm at St John's Church, Cauldwell hall Road, Ipswich.
