ME Community Launch - October 2011
On Saturday 29th October 2011, over 70 of us turned out for an afternoon of information, guest speakers, stalls and afternoon tea. The relaxing atmosphere provided a chance for us to socialsie, support other organisations and raise awareness.
It was a fantastic afternoon and attendees were spoilt with information stalls, jewellry stalls, book stalls, alternative therapy and a raffle, plus the chance to win a fabulous Chronic Fartiguer's Unite Giant Muffin.
We were thrilled to be joined for a while by the Ipswich MP Ben Gummer, who chatted to members about our condition and was interested in what CFS Unite does as a group.
Nothing can say how grateful we all were by the wonderful people who joined us for the brilliant afternoon and the list of Thanks yous could go on for evedr, so I wish to THANK each and every person who helped out, either on the day or in setting up, THANKS to those who came along and Thanks to Ben Gummer, and everyone at the Church of St Johns for making us so welcome.
