Good afternoon dear CFUniters,

I hope this week finds you well as well as can be expected. After some weeks of not feeling my old self today appears to be a brighter day so fingers crossed I have turned a corner.

A few things to share with you.

1. Upcoming - as those of you who were at the meeting I was unable to share upcoming dates due to an immense brain fog well fear not here it is.

Tuesday 2nd July is our next meeting at St John's Church Hall. 13.30 till 15.30. Refreshments available.

Tuesday 23rd July - is our beach hut day. Join us on the waterfront of Felixstowe for a day by the sea with our very own beach hut to use with mugs and tea making facilities.. I have scheduled times in from 10.30 till 3.30 ad to give you an idea it is very close to the pier so not too far to walk to the toilets or if youfancy some fish and chips/donuts. I will supply tea/coffee/ milk etc.... but please bring snacks if you are hungry.

Sunday 25th August - I have scheduled in  our almost annual CFU BBQ at my house. from noon till 16/17ish. We will supply burgers, sausages and bread including veggie options, you bring the rest. There are some chairs but will possibly request more. Please be aware I have a dog who is very friendly. You are more than welcome to bring your families and any dog friendly pets if you wish.

Also in our September meeting Lisa has kindly organised a guest speaker called Natalie who is joining us as she is a hypnotherapist and mindset coach.

Other things to share:

Tomorrow Saturday 15th June - I am hosting a dementia cupcake day at Galaxsea Divers from 11am till 4pm to raise money for the Alzheimer Association. If you are free and fancy some cake come along and say hi. I am currently baking some carrot cake and g/free dairy free banana muffins. Plus there will be lots more.

Saturday 15th and 22nd June - Lisa's group the Springfield follies have their show called Thank you for the music (information attached) , please if you can contact Lisa and book your tickets, It is always a good show.

Finally, I am interested in hearing from people for 2 things,

1. Do you wear mouth guard at night, if so would you be able to tell me what for, what kind and any benefits or problems you have found with them?  I have been talking to people about my constant clenching which is causing headaches as well as jaw aches. I have recently purchased a cheap mouth guard to try but would love to hear feedback and recommendations.

2. Are you a pacer to conserve energy? If so can you share an example of your day and whether you find it beneficial or not. I have a member really struggling to pace but as a result she is boom or busting daily. Any advice given would really be appreciated.

All information given will be anonymous and I hope to share more information soon.

That is it for now. Hope to hear or see you soon.
