Happy New Year!

I hope despite all circumstances your Christmases and new Years went as well as can be expected and I pray that 2021 will be a more positive year for us all.

Unfortunately, COVID is still at the forefront of our minds, the news and our lives and as of yet the idea of meeting together in person seems like a far away dream, hopefully this year it will happen and I cannot tell you how much I miss hugs!

For the first few months of this year I have scheduled Zoom meetings fortnightly beginning Tuesday 12th January at 2pm. For all the dates visit our upcoming events page

www.cfsunite.co.uk/meetings/upcoming-events. On our Tuesday 9th February meeting we will celebrate 10 years!

Secondly, I need your help. I have been having a think over the holidays about ways we can reach out more and share our support during this time and I wish to relaunch our Newsletter. As a result, I could do with people writing for it and it could be anything; ideas I have had so far:

Sharing recipes

Sharing our crafts either by  sharing craft patterns and sharing photos of us doing the crafts we love or sharing our crafts such as photos, our poems.

Recommending good books, audiobooks, films, documentaries to each other.

Doing a shout out to someone who has helped you recently, or just to send them a message of hope.

Sharing wonderful moments that have happened

Providing tips for surviving COVID/CFS or Anxiety

The list is endless. Please email me your ideas or contributions by Sunday 24th January so I can put it together and send it put beginning of Feb.

Finally, if you know of anyone who is having a rough time, please let me know so I can send them a thinking of you card, a text and soon to return our our quarterly Val's flowers of hope.

If you have other ideas please let me know.

Here is to hopefully a better year and hopefully time to reunite again soon.

Love and hugs albeit virtually.
